Nickel 200 Plates have outstanding mechanical properties and resistance to corrosion. It also has exceptional resistance to caustic alkalis at different concentrations and atmospheres. They also have superior corrosion resistance in de-aerated acid. Nickel 200 Pipes can be hot worked between 1200 degrees F and 2250 degrees F. Nickel 200 Pipes are utilized in various| variety of applications like Food processing equipment, Transportation of chemicals, Synthetic fibers, Piping and equipment used in conjunction with alkalis, Aerospace and missile components, and also in structural applications where corrosion resistance is a key consideration. Nickel 200 Plates have higher impact strength.
Nickel 201 Plates are immune to graphitization so it can be used at temperatures above 600 degrees F. Nickel 201 is used for construction of pressure vessels for service up to 1250 degrees F. Nickel 201 Plates has the excellent corrosion resistance properties. Nickel Alloy 201 Pipes are low carbon alloys and is not subject to embrittlement by intergranular precipitated carbon or graphite when held at temperatures of 600 degrees to 1400 degrees F. Nickel 201 Pipes are the most convenient products for operation in chlorine or hydrogen chloride at elevated temperatures. Nickel 201 Plates are utilized in various| variety of applications such as Manufacture and treating of sodium hydroxide, particularly at a temperature above 300 degrees C, Manufacture of viscose rayon, Manufacture of soap, Analine hydrochloride production and in the chlorination of aliphatic hydrocarbons such as methane and ethane, Manufacture of vinyl chloride monomer, Reactors and pressure vessels in which fluorine is generated and reacted with hydrocarbons.
