Monel 400 Round Bars, Plates, and Fasteners exhibit characteristics such as high general resistance to corrosion, high weldability and moderate to high strength. Monel 400 Flanges and Forged Fittings have outstanding resistance to stress-corrosion cracking in most freshwaters, and it is immune to various corrosive environments contributed to its extensive use in marine applications and other non-oxidizing chloride solutions. Monel 400 Round Bars, Plates, and Fasteners are particularly immune to hydrochloric and hydrofluoric acids when de-aerated. Monel 400 Pipes and Pipe Fittings have great mechanical properties at subzero temperatures, can be used in temperatures up to 538 degrees C.
