Stainless Steel 904L Flanges and Forged Fittings has added molybdenum which gives it superior resistance to localized attack by chlorides and excellent resistance to reducing acids and especially its copper addition offers it useful resistance to corrosion to all concentrations of sulphuric acid. Stainless Steel 904L Flanges and Forged Fittings have high alloying contents which also provides it outstanding chloride stress corrosion cracking resistance.
