Nickel 200 Plates have excellent mechanical properties and resistance to corrosion. It also has outstanding resistance to caustic alkalis at various concentrations and atmospheres. They also have high resistance to corrosion in de-aerated acid. Nickel 200 Pipes can be hot worked between 1200 degrees F and 2250 degrees F. Nickel 200 Plates are used in various| variety of applications like Food processing equipment, Chemical Processing Equipment, Synthetic fibers, Piping and equipment used in conjunction with alkalis, Aerospace Equipment, and also in structural applications where resistance to corrosion is a prime consideration. Nickel 200 Pipes have good strength and impact properties.
Nickel 201 Pipes are immune to graphitization so it can be utilized at temperatures above 600 degrees F. Nickel 201 is used for construction of pressure vessels for service up to 1250 degrees F. Nickel 201 Pipes has the excellent resistance to corrosion properties. Nickel Alloy 201 Plates are low carbon alloys and is not subject to embrittlement by intergranular precipitated carbon or graphite when held at temperatures of 600 degrees to 1400 degrees F. Nickel 201 Pipes are the most convenient products for service in chlorine or hydrogen chloride at elevated temperatures. Nickel 201 Plates are utilized in various| variety of applications like Production and treating of sodium hydroxide, especially at a temperature above 300 degrees C, Production of viscose rayon, Manufacture of soap, Analine hydrochloride manufacture and in the chlorination of aliphatic hydrocarbons such as methane and ethane, Production of vinyl chloride monomer, Reactors and pressure vessels in which fluorine is generated and reacted with hydrocarbons.
