Tantalum Plates finds use in four areas which include high-temperature applications, such as aircraft engines, electrical devices, such as capacitors, surgical implants and handling corrosive chemicals. Tantalum Plates are corrosion resistant and are almost impervious to chemical attack, owing to this it has been used in the chemical industry, e.g. for heat exchanger in boilers where strong acids are vaporized.
