Nickel 200 Pipes have excellent mechanical characteristics and resistance to corrosion. It also has outstanding resistance to caustic alkalis at various concentrations and temperatures. They also have superior corrosion resistance in de-aerated acid. Nickel 200 Plates can be hot worked between 1200 degrees F and 2250 degrees F. Nickel 200 Plates are utilized in various| variety of applications such as Food processing equipment, Transportation of chemicals, Synthetic fibers, Petrochemical Equipment, Aerospace and missile components, and also in structural applications where corrosion resistance is a key consideration. Nickel 200 Plates have good strength and impact properties.
Nickel 201 Pipes are resistant to graphitization so it can be used at temperatures above 600 degrees F. Nickel 201 is utilized for manufacturing of pressure vessels for service up to 1250 degrees F. Nickel 201 Pipes has the outstanding corrosion resistance properties. Nickel Alloy 201 Plates are low carbon alloys and is not subject to embrittlement by intergranular precipitated carbon or graphite when held at temperatures of 600 degrees to 1400 degrees F. Nickel 201 Pipes are the most convenient products for operation in chlorine or hydrogen chloride at elevated temperatures. Nickel 201 Plates are utilized in various| variety of applications such as Manufacture and treating of sodium hydroxide, especially at a temperature above 300 degrees C, Manufacture of viscose rayon, Manufacture of soap, Analine hydrochloride production and in the chlorination of aliphatic hydrocarbons such as benzene and ethane, Manufacture of vinyl chloride monomer, Reactors and pressure vessels in which fluorine is generated and reacted with hydrocarbons.
