Nickel 200 Pipes possess excellent mechanical properties and resistance to corrosion. It also has excellent resistance to caustic alkalis at various levels and temperatures. They also have superior resistance to corrosion in de-aerated acid. Nickel 200 Pipes can be hot worked between 1200 degrees F and 2250 degrees F. Nickel 200 Plates are utilized in various| variety of applications such as Handling of foods, Transportation of chemicals, Synthetic fibers, Petrochemical Equipment, Aerospace Equipment, and also in structural applications where corrosion resistance is a key consideration. Nickel 200 Pipes have good strength and impact properties.
Nickel 201 Plates are immune to graphitization so it can be used at temperatures above 600 degrees F. Nickel 201 is used for manufacturing of pressure vessels for service up to 1250 degrees F. Nickel 201 Pipes has the outstanding corrosion resistance properties. Nickel Alloy 201 Plates are low carbon alloys and is not subject to embrittlement by intergranular precipitated carbon or graphite when held at temperatures of 315 degrees to 760 degrees C. Nickel 201 Pipes are the most convenient products for operation in chlorine or hydrogen chloride at elevated temperatures. Nickel 201 Pipes are used in various| variety of applications such as Manufacture and handling of sodium hydroxide, especially at a temperature above 300 degrees C, Production of viscose rayon, Production of soap, Analine hydrochloride production and in the chlorination of aliphatic hydrocarbons such as benzene and ethane, Production of vinyl chloride monomer, Reactors and pressure vessels in which fluorine is generated and reacted with hydrocarbons.
