Nickel 200 Pipes have excellent mechanical properties and resistance to corrosion. It also has exceptional resistance to caustic alkalis at various concentrations and atmospheres. They also have superior corrosion resistance in de-aerated acid. Nickel 200 Pipes can be hot worked between 649 degrees C and 1232 degrees C. Nickel 200 Plates are used in various| variety of applications like Handling of foods, Transportation of chemicals, Synthetic fibers, Piping and equipment used in conjunction with alkalis, Aerospace Equipment, and also in structural applications where resistance to corrosion is a key consideration. Nickel 200 Plates have higher impact strength.
Nickel 201 Plates are immune to graphitization so it can be utilized at temperatures above 600 degrees F. Nickel 201 is utilized for manufacturing of pressure vessels for service up to 1250 degrees F. Nickel 201 Plates has the outstanding corrosion resistance characteristics. Nickel Alloy 201 Pipes are low carbon alloys and is not subject to embrittlement by intergranular precipitated carbon or graphite when held at temperatures of 600 degrees to 1400 degrees F. Nickel 201 Plates are the most convenient products for service in chlorine or hydrogen chloride at elevated temperatures. Nickel 201 Plates are used in various| variety of applications like Manufacture and treating of sodium hydroxide, particularly at a temperature above 300 degrees C, Production of viscose rayon, Production of soap, Analine hydrochloride manufacture and in the chlorination of aliphatic hydrocarbons such as methane and ethane, Production of vinyl chloride monomer, Reactors and pressure vessels in which fluorine is generated and reacted with hydrocarbons.
