Nickel 201 Pipes are immune to graphitization so it can be used at temperatures above 600 degrees F. Nickel 201 is used for construction of pressure vessels for service up to 1250 degrees F. Nickel 201 Pipes has the outstanding corrosion resistance properties. Nickel Alloy 201 Plates are low carbon alloys and is not subject to embrittlement by intergranular precipitated carbon or graphite when held at temperatures of 600 degrees to 1400 degrees F. Nickel 201 Plates are the most practical products for service in chlorine or hydrogen chloride at elevated temperatures.
