Nickel 200 Plates possess outstanding mechanical properties and resistance to corrosion. It also has outstanding resistance to caustic alkalis at different levels and atmospheres. They also have superior resistance to corrosion in de-aerated acid. Nickel 200 Pipes can be hot worked between 1200 degrees F and 2250 degrees F. Nickel 200 Plates are used in various| variety of applications like Food processing equipment, Chemical Processing Equipment, Synthetic fibers, Petrochemical Equipment, Aerospace Equipment, and also in structural applications where corrosion resistance is a prime consideration. Nickel 200 Pipes have higher impact strength.
Nickel 201 Plates are immune to graphitization so it can be utilized at temperatures above 600 degrees F. Nickel 201 is used for manufacturing of pressure vessels for service up to 1250 degrees F. Nickel 201 Pipes has the outstanding resistance to corrosion properties. Nickel Alloy 201 Plates are low carbon alloys and is not subject to embrittlement by intergranular precipitated carbon or graphite when held at temperatures of 315 degrees to 760 degrees C. Nickel 201 Plates are the most practical products for operation in chlorine or hydrogen chloride at elevated temperatures. Nickel 201 Plates are utilized in various| variety of applications such as Production and treating of sodium hydroxide, especially at a temperature above 300 degrees C, Manufacture of viscose rayon, Manufacture of soap, Analine hydrochloride production and in the chlorination of aliphatic hydrocarbons such as methane and ethane, Production of vinyl chloride monomer, Reactors and pressure vessels in which fluorine is generated and reacted with hydrocarbons.
At Bhansali Nickel Alloys our objective is to supply only excellent quality of the Nickel 201 Pipes that are reliable for applications in several industries. Hence, we conduct numerous detailed testing on our Plates before final delivery. Some of the tests include 100% radiography, macro/micro test, and flattening test, intergranular corrosion test, chemical analysis and PMI testing.
