Alloy 20 also known as Carpenter 20 contains niobium for stabilization that enhances its corrosion resistance. Alloy 20 is an iron-base, austenitic alloy with outstanding corrosion resistance to a wide range of media. With the high nickel content, Alloy 20 Pipes and Pipe Fittings exhibit excellent resistance to chloride-induced stress corrosion cracking. In addition, Alloy 20 also has excellent resistance to pitting and crevice corrosion. It shows excellent corrosion resistance in chemical environments containing chlorides and acids.
