Nickel 200 Pipes possess outstanding mechanical characteristics and corrosion resistance. It also has excellent resistance to caustic alkalis at various levels and temperatures. They also have superior resistance to corrosion in de-aerated acid. Nickel 200 Plates can be hot worked between 1200 degrees F and 2250 degrees F. Nickel 200 Plates are used in various| variety of applications such as Handling of foods, Transportation of chemicals, Synthetic fibers, Petrochemical Equipment, Aerospace and missile components, and also in structural applications where corrosion resistance is a key consideration. Nickel 200 Plates have good strength and impact properties.
Nickel 201 Plates are resistant to graphitization so it can be used at temperatures above 600 degrees F. Nickel 201 is utilized for construction of pressure vessels for service up to 1250 degrees F. Nickel 201 Plates has the outstanding corrosion resistance characteristics. Nickel Alloy 201 Pipes are low carbon alloys and is not subject to embrittlement by intergranular precipitated carbon or graphite when held at temperatures of 600 degrees to 1400 degrees F. Nickel 201 Pipes are the most practical products for service in chlorine or hydrogen chloride at elevated temperatures. Nickel 201 Pipes are used in various| variety of applications such as Manufacture and treating of sodium hydroxide, particularly at a temperature above 300 degrees C, Manufacture of viscose rayon, Production of soap, Analine hydrochloride production and in the chlorination of aliphatic hydrocarbons such as methane and ethane, Production of vinyl chloride monomer, Reactors and pressure vessels in which fluorine is generated and reacted with hydrocarbons.
